
The Head Chef and Owner of Flavours of India is Chef Narsing Rao. He started his career as a Chef in various highly distinguished Hotels in India where he worked for ten years before moving to Auckland as the head Chef of a well established chain of restaurants in 2000.

Chef Narsing started working at Flavours of India in Browns Bay in 2007 and bought the business in 2015. Chef Narsing specialises in North Indian and Muglai dishes and admits that his secret of success is maintaining authenticity with a deep understanding of spices and traditional methods of cooking.

Our approach to healthy eating demands that no artificial colours, stock of food additives are used in our dishes.
